2. What data we process

  • Contact form: name, email address, company (optional), type of enquiry and the message you write to us.
  • Email or phone: the details you give us if you write or call us directly.
  • Technical data: the IP address of anyone submitting the form is used temporarily to limit abusive submissions (spam), and the server keeps technical access logs for security reasons.
  • Browsing data: only if you accept statistics cookies, Google Analytics collects, in aggregate form, the pages visited, the type of device and browser and the approximate location. Details in the Cookie policy.

We do not ask for special categories of data. We do not use advertising tools on the website.

3. Why we use it and on what legal basis

  • Answering your enquiry and preparing quotes: legal basis, steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and your consent when you submit the form.
  • Managing the business relationship if you become a client: performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and compliance with legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
  • Website security and spam prevention: our legitimate interest in protecting the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Measuring how the website is used in order to improve it (Google Analytics): your consent in the cookie notice (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time via “Cookie settings”.

We do not make automated decisions or build profiles with your data, and we will not send you marketing communications without your consent.

4. How long we keep it

Enquiry data is kept for as long as needed to deal with the enquiry and, if it does not lead to an order, for a maximum of two years. Client data is kept for the duration of the business relationship and, afterwards, for the periods required by tax and commercial law. Technical and security logs are deleted periodically.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell or transfer your data to third parties, unless required by law. To provide our service we rely on providers that process data on our behalf with the required safeguards:

  • Hostinger International Ltd.: website hosting.
  • Google (Google Workspace): the email service where we receive form messages.
  • Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager): website usage statistics, only with your consent.

6. International transfers

RUNIT SPA is a Chilean company, so enquiries sent from Europe are handled from Chile, a country without an adequacy decision from the European Commission. This transfer is based on it being necessary to deal with your request and to take pre-contractual steps at your request (Art. 49(1)(b) GDPR). Google may process data in the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.

7. Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability at any time, and withdraw any consent given, by writing to belen@runitrader.com and stating which right you wish to exercise. We will reply within one month.

If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you can lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority: in Spain, the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es); in Chile, the competent personal data protection authority.

8. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data: encrypted connection (HTTPS), restricted access to the website and email, and backups.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy if our processing or the law changes. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
